2 minutes of mistakes with Patrick and Say Cheese Photo Booth
Hello, I am Patrick. I am the "big cheese" behind Say Cheese Photo Booth. Actually, I am a little cheese, standing tall at 5 foot 7 inches. Here is a little dose of entertainment at my expense. This video represents a team effort to create a welcome video of sorts for our web site. I had the privilege of screwing up many times while trying to speak into a camera about our photo booth rental company.
Producing just 2 minutes of content was eye opening! I now have an even greater appreciation for the work that videographers do. I don't know the exact ratio between edit time and the "final cut", but I can tell you there is a lot of effort on the back end that you don't see. Everyone from actors to stage crew who work together to create productions at the Aronoff or Playhouse in the Park deserve a great deal of praise too. I can only imagine trying to remember hundreds of lines if you are a lead actor for instance. That's focus!
A special shout out to Ed Luft with Elegant Films, who helped to create all of our video content on the web site. In short, Ed knows his &@%*. He is a 5-time EMMY award winning producer and editor, working on various projects for Hallmark Entertainment such as "Alice in Wonderland" and "The Odyssey". He also served on the advisory board for the WB Network and played a key role in the syndication of "Seinfeld". Ed is no amateur, but I am when it comes to producing a picture perfect script.
New metallic style photo booth prints
Say Cheese Photo Booth revealed a new metallic print option at the 2019 Business Impact Awards with the Northern KY Chamber of Commerce. It was WELL received! The metallic color layer placed onto the paper produces very vibrant images that jump off the page and create a luxurious, high quality feel. Pictures of the prints won't do justice, so we made a small Instagram video to provide context. In short, these prints POP and will impress your guests, no matter the event type. SRO Prints
I had a chance to meet Sara and Brandon Swinehart at a recent corporate event we worked together at Rosedale Bar in OTR. This locally owned branding company is the only woman owned full service, socially responsible branding company in the US. SRO seeks to positively impact the community by employing at risk adults recovering from drug addiction and they make a fine product! In 11 years of renting photo booths, this was the FIRST time I had seen on site t-shirt screen printing. People were getting their t-shirts faster than their drinks at the bar, in a few minutes. Meet Mark Thesken, owner of Thesken Art and one of the most gifted people I've encountered. I recently had the pleaure of meeting Mark at the Newport Aquarium Bridal show after watching him craft a canvas masterpeice depicting a bride and groom in bright, vibrant colors in literally minutes. Mark's talents are nothing short of incredible and they can be applied to virtually any event type and he has the resume to show it. Mark has brought his "live painting" or as some describe "speed painting" to numerous charities, NASCAR, the Reds and Bengals organizations, NFL, US Army, and churches around the country.
Now it's onto weddings and it seems the ideas for application are as numerous as Mark's pallet of colors. For starters, you could hire Mark for either your ceremony or reception; both are a good fit. Brides and grooms can honor a special person (alive or deceased) in the family with a live painting. - FAST correspondence with email, texts, Facebook Messenger, and phone calls. In our "smart phone" world, we are all conditioned now to expect fast answers and that is what you get with Say Cheese.
- Knowledge - Patrick can answer your questions from the technical side of how a dye-sublimation printer works to where best to place your booth inside your venue. 10 years of experience and thousands of rentals (that's "veteran" experience in photo booth terms)!
- Approach - Say Cheese will never be "gimmicky", "salesy" or just downright pushy; not our style!
- Referrals - We don't financially benefit from "kick backs", so any referral for another vendor is vetted through time spent with that person and / or company. They're a true, solid referral with our endorsement.

Wedding photographer and friend Daniel Michael is hosting free liquor tastings once a month for the remainder of 2018. Yes, I said free. He is opening up his office in the Reading Bridal District to past couples, fellow wedding vendors, and engaged couples. This is a great opportunity for you to meet the team in a casual atmosphere and possibly meet other vendors in the process!
Each month will feature a theme, with a variety of selections to choose from. For example, March will feature a myriad of moonshine. You are welcome to bring your drink (even if it's not part of the that month's theme), and other beverages like beer and wine will always be made available.
